Swami Tathagatananda

Swami Tathagatananda (1923–2016) was a monk of the Ramakrishna Order and the longtime minister of the Vedanta Society of New York. He served as the Society’s spiritual leader from 1977 until his passing in 2016 and was esteemed as a scholar, lecturer, and prolific author. Under his leadership, the historic New York center continued its strong tradition of scriptural teaching and public spiritual discourse.
